Golf in the Boyne Valley: Teeing up for Recovery

After weeks of testing lockdown, Irish people are finally seeing a glimmer of hope with the announcement of a phased relaxing of the restrictions that were necessary to counteract the spread of Covid-19. The public response to our Government’s request to stay at home, to protect our elderly and not overburden our health service has been outstanding and it is heartening to see that, with the reins starting to loosen, a safe approach to getting back to “normal” is being adopted.

Minister Brendan Griffin cuts the ribbon to officially open Kells Courthouse - Tourism and Cultural Hub

An exciting and interactive new exhibition on the Story of Kells was opened on May 30th by Brendan Griffin, TD, Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport with a ceremonial cutting of the ribbon.  The new permanent tourism exhibition, developed with a Fáilte Ireland investment of €125,000 and matchfunded by Meath County Council, has created a state of the art tourism exhibition. Meath County Council has invested in restoring the Kells Courthouse building to the highest standard and yesterday marked the official re-opening as a new
