After weeks of testing lockdown, Irish people are finally seeing a glimmer of hope with the announcement of a phased relaxing of the restrictions that were necessary to counteract the spread of Covid-19. The public response to our Government’s request to stay at home, to protect our elderly and not overburden our health service has been outstanding and it is heartening to see that, with the reins starting to loosen, a safe approach to getting back to “normal” is being adopted.
