It’s Monday so it’s time to ‘Meet the Members’. Today it’s the turn of the Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells, owned and operated by the Duff family for almost 50 years.
Due to current restrictions they have added a very popular ‘Headfort at Home’ (details below) to their range of options, so people can still enjoy this landmark Kells business during lockdown.
The Headfort Arms has been a hotel for almost 200 years and the Duff family have been welcoming visitors to Kells since 1972. 45 luxury bedrooms and a comfortable gastropub, The Kelltic Bar, to relax in means your visit to Kells will be an enjoyable and memorable experience.
In 2018 the hotel was awarded a four-star status, in recognition of the quality of service and welcome provided by their friendly and efficient staff.
The hotel has won many accolades; recently it was named in McKenna’s Guide as one of the ‘100 Best Places to Stay in Ireland’ in 2019, while the hotel’s associated restaurant, Vanilla Pod, is also a regular award-winner (including ‘Tom Doorley’s ‘Top 100 Places To Eat in Ireland’). The restaurant offers a wide range of gourmet meals, with many using locally-sourced produce.
Since the beginnings of lockdown the staff at the Headfort Arms have been busy providing a new service, Headfort at Home, where delicious takeaway food may be collected at the hotel on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
To celebrate the countdown to reopening, the Headfort Arms are offering a Voucher Sale with a 10% monetary bonus on Vouchers €50-100 and 20% on over €100, so if you buy a voucher for €100, they will send it out for €120!
The Headfort Arms are also hosting private showarounds for prospective couples in the month of June whilst still being closed and their first holiday package on reopening will be with Causey Farm, launching an ice cream experience and trek!
