Ashbourne Baseball and Baseball Ireland have today announced the opening of the International Baseball Centre, a new international standard baseball facility located in Ashbourne.  The new facility will be the home of the Ashbourne Giants youth and adult baseball teams, will support the establishment of a new National Academy for the baseball National Team programme, and will be a centre for hosting international tournaments.

Trim Entente Florale judging took place on Friday 17th July

Judging took place last Friday in Trim in the European Entente Florale competition. The panel of judges arrived on the Thursday and began their tour on Friday morning taking in many local sights including Newtown Abbey, Trim Castle and the Porchfields.
The judging, which took six hours in total, began with a presentation at the Knightsbrook Hotel on Friday morning giving an overview of Trim, the Tidy Towns and Meath County Council.
