Whether you want to make the most of the long weekend with your friends, if you’re travelling as a family, or if you want a romantic break away, there is something for everyone this Halloween in the Boyne Valley. Here is a three-day itinerary to keep everyone happy.
Day One
Arrive at your accommodation destination in the Boyne Valley on Friday the 27th or Saturday the 28th of October. All of our accommodation members have great offers at the moment for mid-term break and Autumn special offers too.
You will have a list of activities to choose from on Friday including The Lú Festival of Lights in Drogheda, The Forest of Doom at Beewise Nature trail, Funtasia Waterpark Halloween event, Farmaphobia, and more.
Why not start your trip with a Halloween themed afternoon tea at The Conyngham Arms Hotel, followed by a walk with Tlachtga in Athboy and then onto Eureka House Kells for their Kids Halloween Party!

Finish off the evening with a lovely dinner in one of our many restaurants or Hotels before settling into your accommodation for the night.
Day Two
Enjoy a hearty breakfast in your hotel before spending the rest of the day discovering the Boyne Valley. There are lots of activities happening for the Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival on Saturday the 28th of October.
Book into Pumpkin and Fun Halloween Festival at Navan Adventure Centre, Bee tricked or Bee treated at Beewise Nature trail, enjoy all the festivities at Red Mountain Open Farm, paddle down the Boyne on the Halloween Mythology tour with Boyne Boats, explore the Tricky Trail at Emerald Park, discover the Pumpkin Patch and Carving at The Irish Military War Museum, Funtasia’s pumpkin patch festival and more.
In the evening time, choose from The Lú Festival of Lights in Drogheda, The Forest of Doom at Beewise Nature trail, Funtasia Waterpark Halloween event, Farmaphobia, Halloween Spook Walks at Loughcrew Estate, Emerald Park After Dark and more.
On Saturday the 28th, you can enjoy the Púca Festival Opening Procession in the heritage town of Trim from 6.30pm.

Finish off the evening with a lovely dinner in one of our many restaurants or Hotels before settling into your accommodation for the night.
Day three
Enjoy a hearty breakfast in your hotel before spending the rest of the day discovering the Boyne Valley. There are lots of activities happening for the Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival on Sunday the 29th of October.
All of Saturday’s activities for the Spirits of Meath Festival will run again on Sunday just in case you missed out on any the day before. Make your way to Carnevil at The Central Navan on Sunday evening from 7pm-late. Enjoy live music, Ghoulish Cocktails, drink specials, Fancy Dress and Halloween Hi-Jinks, with SPOT PRIZES!
Extend your stay in the Boyne Valley this Halloween and enjoy lots of more events by day and by night at the Spirits of Meath Festival. May of the events above run until the weekend of the 4th and 5th of November including The Lú Festival of Light, Boyne Boats Púca Paddle and Halloween at Red Mountain Open Farm.
The Samhain Festival of food and culture is also running from the 2nd to the 5th of November in the Heritage town of Kells.
