Drogheda Arts Festival
After a two year break, Drogheda Arts Festival is back with a bigger and better line up of music, theatre, exhibitions and family days. Running from Thursday the 28th of April until Monday the 02nd of May.
The Venue Theatre Ratoath
There is always a great line up of events in the Venue Theatre and this May is no different. Don Baker is preforming on the 7th of May and Pligrim street take to the stage on the 14th of May.
After a busy April with the Easter Festival, Fairyhouse will be back in action on the 27th of May for their summer evening racing.
Knightsbrook Hotel is a great venue for upcoming events in the Boyne Valley and this May they welcome Foster and Allen on Sunday the 8th. Tickets are available from the Hotel.
Trim Castle Hotel
It’s always a treat to attend an event at the beautiful Trim Castle Hotel. Reeling in the years showband will be preforming on the 1st of May.
There are two racedays at Navan racecourse this May. Saturday the 14th is their family day and Saturday the 28th is their summer ladies day!
The Headfort Arms Hotel
Spend some time in the heritage town of Kells this May and enjoy two separate music events at the Headfort Arms Hotel. Johnny McEvoy plays on the 13th of May while The Fureys take to the stage on the 26th of May.
The Cottage Market Drogheda
On the first Saturday of every month you will find the Cottage market in St Peters COI Parish Hall in Drogheda. This months market will take place on May 7th with the very best in local craft and design.
Rock Farm Slane Farmers Market
Every Thursday, Rock Farm Slane comes alive with the bustling sounds of their farmers market. Based in the heart of the farm you will find local fruit, vegetables, drinks, craft, design and so much more.
All roads lead to Dunderry this May Bank Holiday Sunday for the first fair in three years! This traditional fair will showcase an array of old skills, crafts and street traders along with a Country and Western music festival featuring Cliona O'Hagan.
Bingo Loco at the Newgrange Hotel
Bingo Loco have flipped the traditional game of bingo on its head and turned it into a 3 hour long interactive stage show complete with dance-offs, lip sync battles, throwback anthems, confetti showers, and prizes ranging from cars to lawnmowers. Join them in the Newgrange Hotel on the 6th of May from 6.30pm.
Drogheda Classical Music
Enjoy an evening of classical music in St Peters Church of Ireland in Drogheda on the 14th of May. Cellist Johannes Moser will be joined by his trio partners Vadim Gluzman violin and Andreï Korobeinikov piano for a genuine starry line up.
Boyne Valley Viking experience at Slane Castle
Immerse yourself and step back into Viking times with an impressive living history display of Viking age traders, craft work displays, warriors in battle, long ship display, music, bards and much more on the 21st and 22nd of May.
Dogitude at Causey Farm
Every member of the family is included here in the Boyne Valley. This is the Irish dog lovers festival happening on the 29th of May from 11am to 5pm on Causey Farm. Their will be a Woofstock music stage, sheepdog trials, Gundog field and so much more!
