What is included in The Christmas Experience?
The Christmas Experience includes all day entry to Tayto Park. During your visit you will:
- The Christmas Experience ticket includes a visit with Santa Claus plus meet the cast of Elf adventures.
- Meet the Elves on their magical journey through the North Pole.
- Help get the elves out of bed and do their daily exercises.
- Prepare and take home some magic reindeer food to help them on their way on Christmas Eve.
- Visit with Santa and receive an age-appropriate present.
- Enjoy all day Park & Zoo entry, with unlimited access to the attractions in the Junior Zone*.
- The Christmas Experience duration will be approx. 1 hour from the start of your visit.
*All other rides & attractions in All Access Zone will close.
*All rides will operate weather permitted and may close in heavy rain or adverse weather conditions.
Please note: The All-Access Zone will be closed during the Christmas Experience. This includes rides such as The Cú Chulainn Coaster, The Viking Voyage, The Flight School, The Power Surge, Rotator etc.
How do I book for the Christmas Experience?

If you are a member, please book HERE and select the members option on the top of the page. Please note you must hold a valid in date membership on the day of your Santa visit, otherwise full cost will be applied on entry.
What to expect on the day?
Tayto Park opens at 10am* on weekends (excluding midweek a full list of opening hours here).
You will check in with the Admissions team, who will then give you a ticket to visit the Christmas Experience at your pre booked time slot.
Each family will be given a time slot to visit Santa's grotto, meet the elves, and see Santa himself.
The Christmas Experience is held in The Lodge building in Tayto Park. You can enter the Grotto at your allotted time slot and no earlier/later.
Before or after your visit you can enjoy Tayto Parks attractions such as the Junior Zone, playground, and the Zoo.
Due to the time of year attractions such as the Zoo & Playground will close at 4pm.
If your visit to Santa is later than 4pm, we would advise you to come in time to visit these attractions before closing.
What Food Outlets and options will be available on the day?
The Lodge Restaurant will be open daily until 6pm. Our Ice Cream parlours such as Scoops & Sprinkles will be open, as well as the Sweet Station and Gift Shop
