A National Day of Creativity for children and young people, Cruinniú na nÓg will take place on Saturday 6th June 2026.
Cruinniú na nÓg is a national initiative that celebrates and encourages participation in culture and creativity through performance, theatre, art and music workshops, readings, screenings, special events and much more. It is about giving children and young people the opportunity to express themselves through a specially curated programme of cultural and creative activities where they can share their ideas, learn new skills, and have fun!
All events are free of charge, child-centred and activity-based. It’s a day for lots of doing, making, and creating!
Meath’s programme of events will centre around Ashbourne, Bettystown, Kells, Navan, Oldcastle and Trim, with a schools programme and a selection of community projects.
Booking for all Cruinniú na nÓg events will open on Monday 25th May.
