JAN — APR | PROGRAMME OF EVENTS

January kicks off with a incredible night of classical music from Julieanne Forrest & Dida Condria, two of Ireland's brightest and best young musicians. Multiple of our Associated Artists showcase their talents; Mufutau Yusuf leads a movement workshop co-facilitated by dancer Lucas Katangila, and Selma Daniel & Grace Collender team up with First Fortnight to bring us 'Befriending My Monster', a show targeted at young school children that explores big feelings that they might not have the words for yet. Artist Mark Garry's exhibition 'to hold or to be held' opens in our third floor Gallery, and our cinema season kicks off with screenings of Samuel Beckett biopic 'Dance First' and Martin Scorsese's critically-acclaimed 'Killers of the Flower Moon'.

February & March are filled with the best of live music, comedy and theatre, with the likes of Sharon Shannon, Neil Delamere and Mikel Murfi returning to Solstice with their latest shows. An Táin Arts Centre and Quintessence Theatre present award-winning Dundalk playwright Jaki McCarrick's 'Belfast Girls' at Solstice as part of its Irish premiere. Kyle Riley and Joe the Magician bring fun for the whole family, and a number of workshops for schools accompany our Visual Arts programme.

Our cinema season finishes with the highly-anticipated 'Poor Things' in April. Much-acclaimed artist Willie Doherty's exhibition 'Remnant' comes to our Gallery, alongside the cinematic premiere of ENDLESS, a film produced by Doherty in 2020 featuring a provocatively restrained performance by Christopher Eccleston. Musician Curtis Stigers returns to Solstice following the success of his previous show here back in late 2022, and St. Mary's Muscial Society and Navan Theatre Group each bring their big annual musical and play productions to our stage across multiple nights.

Visit the 'projects' tab & 'news' section on our website as we regularly update it with upcoming events & opportunities.

We can't wait to welcome you, your family & friends to Solstice this season!
