The Future is Open
The Future is Open at Solstice Arts Centre is a major group exhibition celebrating 20 years of Solstice, bringing together leading contemporary Irish artists to explore ideas of space, time and future possibilities. Spanning photography, film, sculpture and painting, the exhibition invites audiences to consider how we imagine and shape the worlds ahead, from the cosmos to the impact of AI and climate change.
Running from 20 June to 29 August 2026, this free exhibition runs throughout the entire month of July, offering visitors plenty of opportunities to experience this ambitious and thought‑provoking show.
Featuring a diverse range of artists and accompanied by a film programme, the exhibition celebrates creativity, curiosity and new ways of understanding our place in an ever-changing world - making it an unmissable highlight of the summer in Solstice!
