Brigids Day Breaks in the Boyne Valley

Date: 16/01/2024

St. Brigid's Day, celebrated on February 1st, marks the beginning of spring in Ireland and holds special significance in the Boyne Valley. As the region awakens from the winter slumber, locals and visitors alike come together to honour the traditions associated with St. Brigid, as seen with An Gobha`s handmade St Bridgets cross. We are also looking forward to our new bank holiday on the 5th of February in honour of St Brigid. There is nowhere better to spend your break than in the Boyne Valley in County Meath and South County Louth. Here are some ideas of how to spend it.
