Shine is an artist owned craft and gift shop with a working artist’s studio, in the heart of the picturesque village of Slane.

Showcasing makers from the newly formed Meath Made, amidst many other talented makers. We have a carefully curated collection of unique pieces, and are open 11-5pm, Tues-Sat.

Emily McCormack – Artist oil painting school and studio is located just outside Dunboyne, Co. Meath. There, Emily provides oil painting workshops and creates original oil paintings covering a wide range of subjects including landscapes showcasing both Ireland and Co. Meath. 

She has taken part in exhibitions in both Ireland and the UK and most recently in the Surveyor Exhibition at the Solstice Arts Centre, Meath and the Trinity Gallery, Dublin.

Castle Crafts is run by a mother/ daughter duo who proudly support over 100 local crafters by creating an outlet to showcase their work, talent and skills in ceramics, glassblowing, one of a kind art pieces, beautiful home fragrances, handmade jewellery and artisan food among many other Irish crafts.

Just outside Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Newbarn Farm is home to a Farm Shop selling homegrown and locally sources fruit and vegetables alongside a selection of artisan farm produce while The Donkey Shed Restaurant serves delicious meals showcasing the best of our local fare. We also have an open farm where our visitors can meet our farm animals

A 7th generation family-run food and shopping destination located at the Hill of Tara. Home to an eclectic mix of lovingly curated local and International crafts, gifts, fashion, Aran knits, Celtic jewellery and more. After a little retail therapy, call into our adjoining café for some delicious homemade treats or Irish Coffees. Sage and Stone operates as a restaurant, cafe, gift shop and farm shop on the site of the owner's family farm in Duleek.  

 With fantastic freshly cooked take home dinners, soups and salads as well as tasty home-baked cakes and desserts this is a great place to shop if you're on holiday in the area and planning a picnic or if self-catering. It's also a great place to stop for a delicious take-away coffee and treat. 

Don't forget to take a look at the fantastic gift shop which is a treasure trove of artwork, jewellery. homeware, crafts and more.

Alison Fullam Gogan lives in the heart of the Boyne Valley Co.Meath, Ireland. She has a large flock of Jacob sheep which won second place in the recent All Ireland Flock assesments and she also was awarded Best Stock Ram in Ireland with the Jacob Breed.

Alison Hand spins all her own Jacob wool and crafts products with the finished yarn such as woven scarves, hand knit hats, socks, rugs, throws etc.

Jan Muyllaert is a producer of musical instruments including harps, violins, mandolins and guitars. He has over 30 years experience in the art of making specialised instruments to suit any clients needs.

Jan also produces beautifully crafted boats and has worked with many groups to advise and guide them in their own ship building projects. 

A graduate of NCAD, Dublin and having spent time in NSCAD, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Noreen Walshe's professional practice took root in her studio near Navan, between the Hill of Tara and the ancient site of Newgrange.

In an area steeped in early history and mythology, the Boyne Valley, her preferences lie in the world of nature and through the media of oils, acrylics and watercolour, her canvasses and pages fill with her response to subject matter from home and abroad.
