Appropriately named after the previous owner of Tankardstown, Brabazon Restaurant is set in the ‘Garden Village’ of Tankardstown Estate. Our flagship restaurant boasts fine dining and seasonal dishes that are locally sourced and beautifully presented in a cosy atmosphere.
Guests can dine on the terrace in Summer, or in the intimate surrounds and open fire during the winter months. With recent accolades including 2AA Rosettes and RAI’s Best Hotel Restaurant in Meath and Best Chef in Meath, Brabazon Restaurant, offers diners a feast for the eyes and the palate.
Head Chêf Johnny Sarkozi’s carefully created menus change regularly reflecting the changing produce of the season which is all sourced locally and organic where possible. The vegetables come from the walled kitchen garden at Tankardstown, whilst Johnny enjoys engaging with the local forager seeking wild herbs, sea vegetables, and flowers from nearby forests and shores. He also spends a lot of time working closely with local farmers and small artisan producers in order to obtain the best quality possible.
Brabazon Restaurant at Tankardstown House is very excited to launch two new Tasting Menus for summer 2021 and will be open to non-residents for outdoor dining on our picturesque and sheltered terrace from Friday 11th June.
Entirely Tankardstown Tasting Menu (10 course - €70pp) and the Tankardstown ‘Farm to Plate’ Tasting Menu (7 course - €50pp).
Each course can also be accompanied by a paired wine, selected by our in-house sommelier, at an additional cost.
Brabazon Restaurant will open to our hotel residents from 2nd June, and to the public from Friday 11th June to enjoy outdoor dining on our picturesque, sheltered terrace. Initially, we will be open Friday-Sunday only, serving Lunch & Dinner.
