Rock Farm is ideal for reunions, celebrations, corporate and special interest groups. Catering and activities including Kayaking are available on the farm (seasonally). Visitors are also welcome to their weekly Farm Shop, Café and Farm Tours.

Guided Farm Tours
Guided tours of Rock Farm run at 11am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tours give a fascinating insight into this pioneering 90-acre organic farm and ecotourism destination on the historic Slane Castle Estate. Visitors learn about the life of an organic farmer and artisan producer while they walk through the farm that is home to rare breed animals like Dexter cows and Tamworth pigs as well as the happy flock of chickens who provide free range eggs. The tour includes organic market garden which produces bumper crops of veg and fields of barley used for the whiskey made at Slane Distillery. It’s an opportunity to learn about eco-tourism, glamping and strawbale buildings. The cost is €15 per person and tours must be pre-booked on the website www.rockfarmslane.ie Visitors are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and dress for the outdoors.
Farm Shop
The new Rock Farm Shop will be open three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 2pm. All the familiar Rock Farm organic meat and vegetables will be on sale in smart new packaging as well as a selection of local Boyne Valley produce from quality suppliers. To make life easy, customers can pre-order and pick up during shop hours.
The Rock Farm Shop is open to guests staying at Rock Farm and to the public. Guided Farm Tours will run at 11am on the days the Farm Shop is open.
