Trim Youth Theatre
REGULAR CLASS
Mondays 28 April – 26 May | 6pm | €75 (5 weeks) | Ages 13 – 17

Under company director, actor Stephen Cromwell, this is an introduction into stage acting. Classes will include voice, movement, improvisation, acting techniques, and audition preparation. Trim Youth Theatre is open to all levels and encourages not just those with an interest in acting, but also those looking to increase their confidence, and find their voice.

ART-icle 12: Empowering Very Young Voices Through the Arts

Families with young children with physical disabilities are invited to a magical, multi-sensory visual art workshop designed just for them! Led by early years artist Helen Barry, this immersive experience explores the wonders of 'Under the Sea'. Through paint, colour, mark-making, movement, music, and sound, little ones can express themselves in a fun and engaging way. A specialised care team will be on hand to support families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Songs & Souls with Deirdre Kinahan & Steve Wickham

Songs & Souls
A beautiful sixty-minute hybrid event featuring two of Ireland’s best loved artists, playwright Deirdre Kinahan and musician Steve Wickham. Deirdre will perform a series of characters from her award-winning plays; The Saviour (Landmark Theatre & Irish Rep New York), The Unmanageable Sisters (Abbey Theatre), TEMPESTA (Glassmask Theatre and Cork Midsummer) accompanied by Steve on violin and guitar.  The pair will also perform an extract from her new play The Homecoming of Joseph Grace, an extraordinary drama which is due to premiere in theatres 2025. 
 
Choirs Beyond Stigma

Trim Women’s Shed and SpeakUp SingOut Music School are delighted and excited to present this exciting, dynamic, and harmonious concert for your listening pleasure. Featuring two choirs, as well as a special guest performance from artist Eimear Crehan, this night promises to bring something for everyone. 
All proceeds from this event go directly to Beyond Stigma, funding creativity projects for young people in the developing world who are living with HIV.

From a rousing anthems to the tender ballads, Tully’s renditions resonate with emotion and respect, making them a treat for all fans of Christy Moore.
 
Redmond O’Toole: Classical Guitar Recital

Internationally acclaimed classical guitarist Redmond O’Toole performs for the first time in Trim with a concert exploring some of the most sublime and beautiful music of the late twentieth century. Redmond will debut an entirely new programme celebrating the work of some of the greatest composers of our time including Arvo Pärt, Phillip Glass and John Cage. The concert will also include music by Derek Gripper, Nils Frahm and Carlo Domeniconi. 
 
Vladimir Jablokov

Internationally acclaimed violinist Vladimir Jablokov makes a rare appearance at Swift as part of his intimate Summer Tour 2025. Following performances at major venues, Vladimir wants to reconnect with his audiences in more intimate settings across Ireland.
Featuring timeless favourites such as Theme from Spartacus, If I Were a Rich Man, Libertango, Por Una Cabeza, Jalousie, Hungarian Dance No. 5, along with some beautiful Irish melodies.

Eithne Massey has had a lifelong attachment to the legends and traditions of her native Ireland. Her best-selling books of Irish myths and legends for children include what is fast becoming a classic picture book, Best-Loved Irish Legends, and of a number of novels for young readers.
Join us for a conversation between Massey and Meath County Council’s Biodiversity Officer, Ben Malone, where they will discuss some of Eithne’s work such as The Secret of Kells, Best-Loved Irish Legends, and two of her newer works, Irish Rivers and Irish Legends: Newgrange, Tara and the Boyne Valley.
