At Slane Castle, a traditional afternoon tea unfolds with a traitorous twist, where elegance and intrigue combine beneath gilded ceilings. Inspired by the long-standing ritual that began in 19th-century England, this experience invites guests to indulge in delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones with cream and preserves, and finely crafted pastries, yet not everything is as it seems. Seated in the magnificent King George IV Ballroom, light pours through the tall windows, secrets hidden within the ornate walls. Here, amidst refined surroundings, a subtle tension builds, who among you can be trusted? As the final sip of tea is taken, the experience deepens with a mini-Traitorous tour of the castle. Led through shadowed corridors and grand rooms, spoken tales of history of the Conyngham family and the castle itself.
