Welcome back to Sharon Carroll and Yellow River Drama group on their 3rd year to perform their Railway Drama.
Following on from “The Journey” & “For The Love of Ledwidge “ Sharon has written and directed this piece “ Save the Last Dance” with local history in mind.
She takes us back to the swinging 60’s in Wilkinstown Village where we see great excitement building with talk of a new showband appearance in the local hall.
Local ladies working in Navan Carpets get a great surprise when Johnnie Burke arrives back looking very stylish from his time in New York.
But what has he up his sleeve under that fancy American suit? And what does it mean for the locals…..
This year, there will be 2 free outdoor performances for local audiences:
Saturday: Wilkinstown Village (The Platform)
Sunday: Kilmainhamwood Station
Please note: Seating is limited, so arrive early to secure a seat.
