An Tobar Retreat & Spirituality Centre is nestled in the townland of Ardbraccan approximately 3km from Navan town and is available for groups/individuals who can expect to find welcome, hospitality, healing & hope, woodlands & walkways. The centre offers Retreats/Workshops year-round.

Welcome to the Boyne Ramparts Heritage Walk. The Boyne Valley rich culture, heritage, myths and legends are to be experienced along the Boyne Navigation running from the Gateway to the Boyne Valley at Navan as far as Drogheda. The Boyne Navigation flows peacefully alongside 5,000 years of Meath Heritage, passing by the passage graves of Newgrange, Knowth & Dowth, the Battle of the Boyne site at Oldbridge and the Estate Village of Slane.

Dalgan Park is open daily from 10:00 to 16:00.

No dogs permitted. Please follow on-site signage.

Forest Walk - Balrath Wood

Balrath can be enjoyed throughout the year. However, the ideal time to visit Balrath is in late summer/early autumn when there are plenty of leaves and some fruits/nuts on the trees, some wildflowers still in bloom and also some insect life to be seen. Spring and summer are also good times, especially to see woodland wildflowers in their natural habitat.

Jan Muyllaert is a producer of musical instruments including harps, violins, mandolins and guitars. He has over 30 years experience in the art of making specialised instruments to suit any clients needs.

Navan also offers the stunning Ramparts Canal Walk along the Boyne if you wish to turn your short walk into an adventure.

Navan Racecourse has been recognised as one of the fastest growing racetracks in the country. Located just north of Dublin in the heart of County Meath, easily accessible from Newry and the north It’s central location in Meath’s Royal County, makes an ideal choice to visit.

Horse Racing has taken place at Navan's “Royal County” Proudstown site since the 1920's. Set in 181 acres, the track is highly respected by Owners and Trainers who recognise that it's stiff uphill finish is a true test of their horses fitness and stamina.

A graduate of NCAD, Dublin and having spent time in NSCAD, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Noreen Walshe's professional practice took root in her studio near Navan, between the Hill of Tara and the ancient site of Newgrange.

In an area steeped in early history and mythology, the Boyne Valley, her preferences lie in the world of nature and through the media of oils, acrylics and watercolour, her canvasses and pages fill with her response to subject matter from home and abroad.
