Navan Sculpture Trail

Navan - Sculpture Trail – featuring 15 public art features by artists of international reputation.

The trail can be taken in two stages – as a small walk encompassing the town centre, or for the more adventurous, heading out of town to view works located on the approaches to Navan. This can done in conjunction with the Navan Points of Pride walk, a map for which can be downloaded here

Highlanes Municipal Art Gallery

Highlanes Municipal Art Gallery, is one of Ireland's most important visual art spaces.

Highlanes Municipal Art Gallery, which opened in 2006, is one of Ireland's most important visual art spaces. Serving the North East region, it presents a programme of national and international temporary exhibitions, as well as exhibitions drawn from the Drogheda Municipal Art Collection, a fascinating collection dating from the mid-18th century.

Slane Castle

Overlooking the River Boyne, just a few kilometres upstream from Newgrange and the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne, Slane Castle in its existing form was constructed under the direction of William Burton Conyngham, together with his nephew the 1st Marquess Conyngham. The reconstruction dates back to 1785 and is principally the work of James Gandon, James Wyatt and Francis Johnston. Francis Johnston was also the architect responsible for the gothic gates on the Mill Hill, located to the east of the castle.

Solstice Arts Centre

Solstice Arts Centre have brought a diverse range of entertainment from a host of artistic strands including; drama, music, comedy, arts and theatre, incorporating both international and national artists throughout their events whilst also acting as a platform for new artists. It is dubbed the entertainment hub of Meath. This year Solstice promises "challenging and entertaining events of artistic quality" which will cater for everyone.

The Barbican Centre
