Clarkes Bar, situated in the town centre of Drogheda is a unique pub dating back to 1900. 

The pub was built in 1850s and traded as a pub and grocers until 1900 when Thomas Reid transferred his license from Little Denmark St Dublin to Clarkes. The original licences issued by her majesty's government in 1900 are on display. Nano Reid, Irelands foremost visual artist was born in March 1900 and lived on the premises with her family until 1926 when the pub was sold.

Donegan's - a traditional Irish whiskey pub since 1871. Donegan's of Collon is situated on the main Slane - Derry route, having opened its doors as a resting place for weary travellers back in 1871, with yard and stables for the horses. Donegan's is still looking after both the local community and passers-by, whether you're looking for a seat by the two open fires on a chilly winter's day or sit in the summer sun in our comfortable yard.
