Located in Dunshaughlin in the heart of County Meath, Black Bush Golf Club has matured into a fantastic test of golf. Tree-lined fairways, strategically positioned hazards and immaculate greens provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers. Excellent bar and restaurant open to non-members.

Emily McCormack – Artist oil painting school and studio is located just outside Dunboyne, Co. Meath. There, she provides oil painting workshops and creates original oil paintings covering a wide range of subjects including landscapes showcasing both Ireland and Co. Meath. 

Her paintings are available for purchase from her website, by appointment in her gallery or every Sunday from 112-113 Merrion Square’s Open-Air Art Gallery, Dublin.

The Ashbourne Baseball Club is an amateur baseball club located in Ashbourne, Co Meath and draws players from Ashbourne, Dublin and the surrounding area.
The club has opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.

A 165km way marked walking/cycling trail commemorating a heartbreaking walk of forced emigration in 1847 at the height of the Great Irish Famine.  

It begins at the memorial glass wall at National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park in Roscommon and continues through six counties including County Meath to EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin’s Docklands.

The route is marked by more than 30 pairs of bronze children’s shoes, including locations at the Hill of Down, Longwood and Enfield in Meath.

Just outside Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Newbarn Farm is home to a Farm Shop selling homegrown and locally sources fruit and vegetables alongside a selection of artisan farm produce while The Donkey Shed Restaurant serves delicious meals showcasing the best of our local fare. We also have an open farm where our visitors can meet our farm animals
