The newly opened Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway has proved a hit with visitors from all over the Country. Irelands newest Greenway traverses through County Meath and County Cavan and follows the old line of the Navan to Kingscourt Railway. The railway line opened in 1872 and was largely operated by the Midland Great Western. It ceased operation in 1947.
