2025 marks the 175 years since the railway came to Navan.  

In 1850 the Dublin and Drogheda Railway Company opened a branch line to Navan, linking the town to Ireland’s rapidly expanding network of railways. The railways brought increased trade and visitors to Navan and Meath, as well as allowing local people greater access to goods, services and entertainment.

Santa Paws Sunday 7th December

Our Santa Paws event takes place on Sunday 7th December where we welcome families and friends with their furry friends to come and visit Santa.   

Santa will be on hand to greet the families get their Christmas Keepsake photo taken with him and sent off with a goodie bag for their Pet.   

The 2025 Hinterland Festival takes place in Kells, Co. Meath from 26th– 29th June

The return of the “King John Summer Prom” in Trim Co. Meath in July 6^th – 9^th Experience the magic of music as an orchestra and singers unite to chart Ireland’s enduring story—a symphonic and vocal journey that draws us closer to the essence of this storied land.
