The OPW is delighted to announce that the Oldbridge Harvest Fair will once again take place in the enchanting Walled Garden on Sunday 25th September from 11am to 4pm. So why not save the date and take the family to Oldbridge to soak up the atmosphere -watch dancing displays, listen to beautiful music while sampling the fine artisan food on display. It promises to be a fun day for all the family.

On Friday October 07thThe Glyde Inn, Annagassan  will be hosting a very special Opera Night with Tenor, Gavan ring and his wife, soprano  Nicola Ring . This promises to be another fantastic evening of fine food and singing not to be missed.

Please come and join us for a walking tour of the Devenish Lands at Dowth – a beautiful farm on the banks of the Boyne within the Brú na Bóinne UNESCO World Heritage Site - where cutting-edge research into sustainable agriculture for the future sits alongside Neolithic monuments, created by some of Ireland’s first farmers 5,500 years ago.

A Boyne Valley celebration of this traditional German Festival. Two evenings showcasing the best of local beers, accompanied by local beef and pork.

Learn all about what it is to live like a bee within nature’s elaborate eco-system and cycle of life. Hear intriguing insights like how bees do an in-hive waggle dance to inform fellow bees about where to find the best nectar. 

View the honeybees through a large working observation hive. See up close the inside of a honeybee hive, from empty frame to one full with honey. Feel the difference in weight.
Then watch the liquid honey flow from a frame fresh from the hive in a glass extractor.

Sonairte [pronounced SON-ART-A] is an interactive visitor centre promoting ecological awareness and sustainable living. The name Sonairte is derived from a middle Irish word meaning “positive strength”.

Part of the Boyne Valley Flavours Food Series,  the Spirits of the Boyne Valley Tour introduces you to the best Gin & Whiskey Distilleries the Boyne Valley has to offer.
