An Rith Glas - The Green Run 5km

Run wild, untamed and free with Fiáin Run Club. 5km Green run. All paces no pressure, just getting outside in the freedom of the great outdoors on the Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway and maybe picking up a few words as Gaeilge! Come as you are and move at your own pace in nature on this chilled social run. Expect a few surprises along with delicious refreshments and that feel good factor. Everyone welcome!

Pilates & Matcha on the Greenway - Pilates & Matcha ar an Greenway

A relaxing indoor Pilates session at 'G'N'R' Café along the Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway, designed to attract both local and visitors. 

The event will include simple Irish language words for participants ( e.g anáil isteach / amach ) to gently introduce Gaeilge in an accessible way.

Felt Brooch Workshop - Ceardlann bróiste feilte

Join felt artist Caoimhe for a hands on wet felt workshop to create their own flower brooch using wool and recycled fabrics in a choice of colours. This traditional craft workshop introduces the process of wet felting in a simple and enjoyable way, allowing each participant the make a unique handmade piece.

Tóraíocht Taisce ar an Greenway  -   Greenway Treasure Hunt

A fun, family-friendly treasure hunt along the Greenway using Irish-language clues. Participants explore the are"as Gaeilge" and receive a free ice cream from G'N'R café upon completion.  This event encourages playful Irish language learning. 

Join this inclusive stay and play session, with sensory and messy play fun! A safe welcoming space for children aged 1-10 years to explore, learn and enjoy hands on activities. A fully inclusive unstructured and child-led class where all children are welcome!

Join Dr Emma Reeves senior ecologist with Fers for a biodiversity walk along the greenway from Gibbstown station. She will talk about the diversity, folklore and importance of the species that we encounter along the way. Bí linn.
